3D Design Engineer – Facade Experience: 4-5 years in 3D modeling, preferably in facade design We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented 3D Design Engineer specializing in facades to join our team. Technical Development & Documentation Develop detailed technical drawings, 3D layouts, and fabrication-ready designs using CAD and BIM software. Maintain and update a database of facade components, materials, and structural details for reference. Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings for facade fabrication and installation. Material Selection & Structural Integration Research and recommend suitable materials, finishes, and facade systems based on performance, cost, and environmental impact. Work closely with engineers to ensure structural feasibility, thermal efficiency, and weather resistance of facade designs. Optimize fabrication and installation processes by integrating modular and prefabricated facade solutions. Collaboration & Presentation Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and facade consultants to align design intent with project requirements. Support the sales and technical teams by preparing 3D models, presentations, and design proposals for clients. Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and client meetings to present concepts and technical solutions. Finalization & Quality Assurance Develop initial sketches, design concepts, and prototype models for review and approval. Identify design flaws, material inconsistencies, and potential construction issues, recommending improvements. Ensure final designs are aesthetically appealing, functional, and cost-effective, while meeting industry best practices and safety regulations. What We’re Looking For: 4-5 years of experience in 3D modeling and facade design for buildings, infrastructure, or high-rise projects.
