Steel Welder

As a Stainless Steel Welder, your primary responsibility will be fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment, with a specialization in stainless steel. You will utilize various welding techniques to weld plates and structures for 4G applications while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and quality specifications. Your duties will include performing welding on stainless steel components using appropriate methods such as TIG, MIG, Stick welding, and ARC. You will be required to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately. Additionally, cutting, fitting, and assembling stainless steel parts using hand tools, power tools, and machines will be part of your daily tasks. Preparing metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and polishing will be essential to ensure the quality of welds. You will also be responsible for inspecting welds for defects like cracks, weak joints, or incomplete penetration, and rectifying them promptly. Adhering to industry and safety standards is crucial to guarantee the strength and integrity of the welds you produce. Maintaining and setting up welding machines and tools, ensuring their safety, calibration, and proper functioning, will be within your purview. You must strictly follow company safety policies and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, helmet, and apron to mitigate workplace hazards. Keeping your work environment clean and free of hazards is vital to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. Furthermore, you will be required to maintain detailed logs of welding activities, inspections, and materials used. In case of any issues or defects, you are expected to report them to supervisors or quality control for timely resolution.
