Procurement Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Procurement Lead to oversee and optimize the organization’s sourcing, vendor management, and procurement operations. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that ensure cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery of goods and services. The role requires exceptional communication skills in English, Kannada, and Hindi, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously refine procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with reputable vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts to maximize value and mitigate risk.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including requisitioning, sourcing, purchase order management, and timely delivery.
• Maintain comprehensive procurement records, including supplier performance metrics and contract documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast requirements and optimize procurement planning.
• Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging risks to inform strategic decisions.
• Ensure strict adherence to organizational procurement policies, statutory regulations, and ethical standards.
• Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Support financial audits, budgeting, and reporting activities related to procurement.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, and contract management.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP or procurement management systems.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, Kannada, and Hindi (mandatory).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹540,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
