Our fully integrated services are tailored to plan and manage projects using proven best practices.We are seeking applications for the position of Procurement cum –Finance Expert for PMC for upcoming infrastructure development project in Gujarat.Missions/Main Duties
Procurement Management
- Develop and execute project-specific procurement strategies for materials, equipment, works, and services.
- Prepare tender documents, conduct bid evaluations, and negotiate/manage contracts with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant procurement laws, guidelines, and organizational policies (including public procurement and PPP frameworks, if applicable).
- Monitor contractor/vendor performance, manage contract amendments, and resolve procurement-related disputes.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and key stakeholders.
Finance Management
- Develop, monitor, and update project budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow statements.
- Manage disbursements, payment schedules, invoice processing, and financial reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports, track project expenditures, and ensure adherence to allocated budgets.
- Support the preparation of funding proposals and assist with securing financing/funding (includes PPP, government grants, or private investment).
- Assist management in cost control, financial risk assessment, and value-for-money analysis.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all procurement and financial activities adhere to statutory regulations, audit requirements, and ethical standards.
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate procurement and financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate records for auditing, reporting, and project close-out.
Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with engineering, legal, commercial, and project management teams to align procurement and financial strategies with project objectives.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including banks, government authorities, auditors, and JV partners.
- Provide regular updates and reports to project leadership on procurement and financial status, risks, and critical issues.
Profile/Skills
- Minimum of 15 years of overall experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Post Graduation in Economics, Commerce or MBA with specialization in Finance.
- Certification in Procurement from recognized bodies.
- Large Infrastructure Project like, Smart Cities/Industrial town ships/Residential Town Ships/Hospitals/SEZ (Special /Economic Zone/Public Buildings).
- Experience of working as Procurement Manager on at least 1 large infrastructure projects of value more than Rs.1000 crores.
