Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in Payments and SWIFT Messaging to join our Finergy Payments team. You will design and document payment messaging frameworks aligned with ISO20022 and SWIFT protocols, enabling seamless transaction processing and regulatory compliance for our banking clients.
Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in payments and SWIFT domain.
- Strong understanding of SWIFT messaging (FIN/MT, ISO20022, FileAct, Interact).
- Experience in drafting BRDs, FRDs, and use case documents.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, using tools like Jira and Git.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of other payment systems (e.g., RTGS, SEPA, ACH, CHIPS, Fedwire).
- Exposure to regulatory initiatives like CBPR+, SWIFT gpi, or real-time payments.
- Experience working with banking clients or global financial institutions.
- Proficiency in using tools for process modeling (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical documentation.
- Create and manage BRDs (Business Requirements Documents) and FRDs (Functional Requirements Documents).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product managers, and clients to define and prioritize features.
- Design application workflows and messaging standards aligned with SWIFT protocols (MT, MX, FileAct, Interact).
- Ensure full compliance with ISO20022 and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Conduct impact analysis and assist in UAT planning and coordination.
- Stay abreast of SWIFT releases, industry trends, and evolving compliance mandates.
- Support Agile delivery teams by refining user stories and managing Jira artifacts.
