Job Description

Experience: 5+ years

Work mode: Hybrid

Location: Pune

Notice Period:- immediate to 15 days

Shifts timings:– 1 PM –10 PM

Duration of contract – 1 year

Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Looker, Tableau, and Power BI, following best practices in UX, visual hierarchy, and performance optimization.
Translate business requirements into scalable, reusable, and self-serve visual assets—balancing storytelling with interactivity and drill-down exploration.
Develop custom metrics using LookML, DAX, and Tableau Calculations to deliver business logic cleanly and efficiently within platform constraints.
Ensure dashboards are optimized for performance and refresh efficiency, especially when sourcing from large cloud datasets (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake).
Implement data-level security and user-based access logic to support multi-client or department-specific views.

Data Modeling & Integration

Collaborate with data engineering to define semantic layers, LookML models, Power BI datasets, or Tableau data sources that balance flexibility and governance.
Recommend enhancements to data pipelines and model designs to support advanced reporting and visualization needs.
Validate data quality and consistency across platforms by implementing guardrails, testing protocols, and audit strategies

Mandatory Technical Skills

Deep expertise in Looker (LookML), Tableau (LOD expressions, Dashboard Actions), or Power BI (DAX, Power Query).
Strong understanding of data visualization principles, including best practices for layout, color, and interactivity.
Ability to define and implement semantic models, custom measures, and filters to match business logic requirements.
Proficiency in SQL and experience working with cloud-based databases and BI-optimized schemas.
Familiarity with data security, row-level access, and embedded dashboard deployment.
Comfort with Git-based workflows for LookML and general best practices in collaborative development

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Looker Studio, Streamlit, or other lightweight visualization platforms.
Exposure to design systems, style guides, or enterprise dashboard templates.
Familiarity with embedding and white-labeling visualizations across portals or client-facing apps.
Knowledge of API usage for dashboard automation, usage telemetry, or asset lifecycle management.
UI/UX experience or collaboration with design teams on wireframes, interactivity, and user journey considerations

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
