Job Title: Power BI Engineer – IFM Domain

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Engineer with strong expertise in data modeling, visualization, and performance optimization, particularly within Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) or related business domains. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing interactive Power BI dashboards, optimizing database queries, and ensuring efficient data integration from both RDBMS and NoSQL (MongoDB) systems.Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support IFM analytics and decision-making.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
Optimize SQL and MongoDB queries for performance and efficiency.
Develop and maintain data pipelines, integrating multiple sources (RDBMS, MongoDB, APIs, etc.).
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across Power BI datasets.
Implement and maintain row-level security and performance tuning for Power BI reports.
Automate report refresh schedules and manage Power BI service workspaces.
Support ad-hoc analytical needs for business and operations teams.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard design).
Strong knowledge of RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL) and query optimization techniques.
Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data architecture.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL and NoSQL queries.
Experience integrating multiple data sources into Power BI.
Good understanding of IFM operations or exposure to facilities management analytics is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Power BI certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.) or equivalent cloud BI environments.
Knowledge of Python or R for data transformation (optional).
