1. Ensure all relevant labour laws & regulations are respected and complied with at the plant.
2. Responsible for maintaining industrial peace and harmony in a unionized workforce.
3. Anchoring the collective bargaining process with the union tactfully to ensure smooth wage/bonus settlements.
4. Oversee that welfare activities are conducted as per calendar within cost.
5. Oversee the canteen management & maintenance Cost vs budget, service levels on cost, service, quality.
6. Monitor performance and actual labour costs at all the plants with assistance from Plant Head HR & IR and recommend corrective actions, if required.
7. Handling grievances which have been escalated and ensure that they are resolved promptly.
8. Spearheading annual labour budgeting process in collaboration with factory management and the corporate HR team.
9. Managing internal facilities such as canteen, Transport, security etc.,
10. Monitor adherence to all statutory compliances of the plants, for blue collared employees and contract employees.
11. Ensure all statutory compliances related to hiring of blue collared employees and their disputes.
Knowledge of IR handling, Labour laws, Blue collar workforce management, Good Communication skills, Knowledge in MS Office. Preference to work for 6 days.
Canteen and Transport facilities are available.
