Job Description

Key Responsibilities Operational Management · Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance. · Ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and delivery deadlines. · Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for productivity, efficiency, and quality. Leadership & Team Development · Lead, coach, and mentor supervisors, engineers, and production staff to foster a high-performance culture. · Develop workforce capabilities through training, skill enhancement, and succession planning. · Promote collaboration between departments (maintenance, engineering, quality, logistics). Safety, Compliance & Quality · Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies, procedures, and compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards. · Ensure adherence to ISO, GMP, or other industry quality standards. · Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to resolve operational issues. Continuous Improvement · Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, increase productivity, and lower costs. · Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. · Stay updated on industry trends, technology, and best practices. Budget & Resource Management · Manage plant budget, control operational expenses, and optimize resource allocation. · Coordinate with supply chain and procurement to ensure raw material availability and cost-effectiveness. · Oversee equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime Qualifications Education & Experience · Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred). · Minimum 8–10 years’ manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. · Proven track record in plant operations, process improvement, and cost control. Skills & Competencies · Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. · Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP/MRP systems. · Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. · Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.   Work Environment · Office and shop floor environment with exposure to manufacturing equipment, noise, and safety hazards. · Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as per company policy. · May require occasional travel for supplier or customer visits   Salary & Benefits · Competitive salary commensurate with experience. · Performance-based incentives. · Health, dental, and vision insurance. · Retirement plan with company contribution.
