Understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G network architectures, with end to end understanding of connectivity to network elements (2G - DUG, 3G - RBS, 4G - ERBS, 4G – BB Radio node, 5G – BB Radio Node, SIU/TCU, BSC, RNC, SecGW, MME, etc.) Knowledgeable and experienced with proactive troubleshooting and maintenance on multi-customer, multi-technology networks such as; Telefonica or Vodafone Beacon Ericsson network. Experience of commissioning, integration, migrating and upgrading Ericsson RAN products (RBS6000, BB6XXX, DUG/W/S, SIU) Experience of Ericsson network manager (ENM Auto provisioning, ENM CLI, etc.) Experience of using AMOS/MO SHELL commands for troubleshooting and scripting. Qualifications Essential 5+ years of telecom integration and operation experience. 3+ years of LTE RAN Integration and technical support experience. Understanding of transmission network architecture as deployed in the Telefonica UK network. Thorough knowledge of Ericsson ENM environment & tools. Experience with creation of scripts for the integration and upgrading of Ericsson RAN products. Prior experience performing integrations on the Vodafone and Telefonica O2 UK networks. Experience with scheduling and managing integration and troubleshooting activities. Strong technical writing skills. Required Skills Essential Be a team player. Essential Fluent English speaker. 3 to 5 years’ experience in a comparable role. Telecoms based HNC type qualification. Sound methodical skills with attention to detail. Capability to multi-task and prioritise activities to ensure timely deliveries. Comfortable in working with multiple stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment of a global matrix organization with an attitude of sensitivity and collaboration. High energy, initiative, enthusiasm and persistence. Desirable Degree in Telecommunications. 5 years’ + experience in a comparable role.
