Role Overview:
We are seeking highly motivated and results-driven individuals to join our team as Solar Rooftop Area Sales Executives. This is a unique opportunity for ambitious sales professionals who thrive on performance-based compensation. Your primary responsibility will be to aggressively identify, pursue, and close sales of rooftop solar systems within your assigned geographic area. This role is 100% incentive-based, meaning your earnings are directly tied to your sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify and generate new sales leads through various channels including door-to-door canvassing, cold calling, networking, referrals, and participation in local events/exhibitions.
* Customer Engagement & Education: Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients (residential, commercial, industrial) to understand their energy needs, explain the benefits of solar energy, and present our customized rooftop solar
* Quotation & Proposal Presentation: Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, including system specifications, financial analysis (ROI, savings), and government incentives/subsidies.
* Sales Closure: Skillfully negotiate terms and close sales agreements, securing signed contracts and necessary documentation.
* Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and generating referrals.
* Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in solar policies/incentives.
* Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools (if provided).
* Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed aggressive monthly and quarterly sales targets.
What You Bring:
* Proven Sales Acumen: A strong track record of successful sales, preferably in a direct sales or field sales environment. Experience in solar, renewable energy, or a related technical sales field is a significant plus but not mandatory if you demonstrate exceptional sales capability.
* Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Exceptional drive, discipline, and a strong desire to achieve ambitious sales targets in an incentive-only environment.
* Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to articulate complex information clearly, listen actively, and build rapport with diverse clients.
* Negotiation & Closing Skills: Demonstrated ability to handle objections, negotiate effectively, and close deals.
* Resilience & Persistence: Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude in a challenging sales landscape.
* Basic Technical Aptitude: Willingness and ability to quickly learn and understand the technical aspects of solar PV systems.
* Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
* Mobility: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation as this is a field-based role requiring significant travel within the assigned area.
* Laptop/Smartphone: Access to a smartphone and potentially a laptop for CRM access and client presentations.
Compensation:
* This is a 100% incentive-only position. Your earnings are uncapped and directly proportional to your sales performance.
