Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Optimization Engineer with expertise in power plant performance calculations, Machine Learning, and Control systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in thermal and combined cycle power plant analysis, diagnostics, and optimization, along with proficiency in Ovation Control Systems and third-party communication protocols such as OPC DA and OPC UA. This role involves designing and implementing intelligent strategies to enhance the performance, efficiency, and reliability of power plants and industrial processes.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Design Engineering, implementation and commissioning for Ovation Performance Optimization, OIF plugin Program for Advanced Power Application.

We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer with deep expertise in power plant performance diagnostics and optimization. The ideal candidate will design and implement intelligent software solutions that monitor, analyze, and enhance the operational efficiency of thermal, hydro, and renewable power plants. This role blends engineering expertise with advanced analytics and software development, driving innovation and excellence across energy platforms.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Preferred Qualifications That Make You Stand Out:
Basic Knowledge of Networking Concepts and Data Communication.
Good knowledge of Power Plant process is required, Modeling knowledge is desirable with renewable energy systems (solar, wind, hydro).
Familiarity with Optimization techniques
Understanding of Programming language of various software.
Should be able to take risks and accept challenges
Knowledge of machine learning techniques for fault detection and performance prediction.
Certifications in energy auditing will be an advantage.
