Job Description


Position: Performance & Digital Marketing Specialist

Department: International Relations

Institution: Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Kudlu Gate Campus

Experience Required: 4+ years (in Performance Marketing, Digital Campaigns, or International Education Marketing)


Role Overview:


The Performance & Digital Marketing Specialist will drive international outreach, student acquisition, and brand visibility for Dayananda Sagar University’s International Relations team. The role focuses on planning and executing performance-driven digital campaigns across multiple channels to engage international audiences, increase applications, and strengthen DSU’s global brand presence.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Performance Marketing


Plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and international ad networks).


Develop lead generation strategies tailored for international student recruitment.


Monitor ROI on ad spend, track conversion rates, and implement data-driven optimizations.


Create remarketing and lookalike audience strategies to nurture prospective students.


2. Digital Strategy & Content


Design and implement digital marketing strategies to target international markets (Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe, etc.).


Collaborate with the International Relations team to create engaging content (landing pages, videos, email campaigns, and creatives).


Leverage SEO and SEM techniques to boost organic visibility for international audiences.


Manage DSU’s international student-facing social media handles and campaigns.


3. Analytics & Reporting


Track and analyze key performance metrics (CTR, CPL, CAC, application-to-admit ratio).


Provide actionable insights to the International Relations leadership team.


Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on campaign effectiveness and student acquisition progress.


4. Stakeholder Collaboration


Work closely with admissions, international partnerships, and outreach teams to align campaigns with enrollment goals.


Coordinate with external agencies/vendors for media buying, creative support, and influencer marketing in target regions.


Support international education fairs, webinars, and virtual engagement campaigns through digital promotion.


Key Skills & Competencies


  • Proven expertise in performance marketing (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, YouTube).


  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media, and web analytics (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, CRM tools).


  • Experience in international education marketing or working with overseas student recruitment is preferred.


  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to engage a multicultural audience.


  • Data-driven mindset with ability to convert insights into actionable strategies.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).


  • 4+ years of experience in performance and digital marketing (experience in the international education sector is an advantage).


  • Certifications in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, HubSpot, or similar digital platforms are desirable.
