Position Title:- QS Manager - Post & Pre contract administration He should be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration in construction projects. They ensure projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality and compliance with contractual obligations. Job Profile: Quantity Surveying (QS) Manager Key Responsibilities: • Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control for construction projects. • Prepare and manage tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies. • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to optimize cost efficiency. • Negotiate contracts and agreements with contractors, suppliers, and clients. • Monitor and track project expenditures to ensure cost control. • Handle variations, claims, and disputes in line with contractual obligations. • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, building codes, and company policies. • Provide regular financial and progress reports to stakeholders. • Lead and mentor a team of quantity surveyors, ensuring quality and accuracy in cost management. Key Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. • Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, AIQS, CIOB) is preferred. • 12+ years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role. • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, JCT, NEC). • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy, Primavera). • Strong leadership and team management abilities. • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
