The Regional People & Culture Coordinator supports People & Culture operations across India and South Africa, ensuring an exceptional employee experience from onboarding through exit. This role partners closely with +Regional HR leaders and the Global People & Culture team to manage onboarding and offboarding, handle employee inquiries, coordinate engagement activities, and maintain accurate HR data and compliance.
· Coordinate pre-hire documentation, background checks, and system access setup for new hires.
· Facilitate Day 1 orientation and ensure smooth integration of employees into the organization.
· Maintain regional onboarding checklists and orientation materials.
· Coordinate offboarding logistics including exit documentation, clearance, and scheduling of exit interviews.
· Track and summarize exit feedback for review by regional HR leaders.
· Manage the HR inbox for India and South Africa, ensuring timely, professional responses to employee queries.
· Support HR data updates, file management, and policy acknowledgment tracking.
· Partner with payroll, compliance, and benefits teams to ensure accuracy of employee data.
· Assist with local labor law compliance, including documentation retention, leave records, and statutory requirements.
· Coordinate local engagement events, cultural celebrations, and wellness initiatives.
· Partner with the HR leadership team to implement global engagement campaigns.
· Maintain regional engagement calendars and assist in collecting participation metrics and feedback.
· Prepare HR reports and trackers for headcount, onboarding, and offboarding.
· Provide administrative support for People & Culture initiatives such as training coordination, HR systems updates, and audits.
· Collaborate with HR peers globally to share best practices and ensure alignment with company standards and policies.
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
· 1–2 years of experience in HR or People & Culture supporting India and/or South Africa operations.
· Working knowledge of regional employment and labor laws, including onboarding documentation, payroll compliance, and exit formalities.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple HR processes and deadlines efficiently.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and HR systems.
· High level of professionalism, discretion, and a service-oriented mindset.
