Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at The Leela, with 2-8 years of experience in the field.

Roles and Responsibility

Prepare and cook high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Develop new dessert menus and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
Collaborate with other chefs to ensure seamless service delivery.
Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
Ensure all food products meet quality control standards before service.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment.
Strong knowledge of pastry-making techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Ability to maintain attention to detail and adhere to high standards of quality and presentation.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in pastry cuisine.
