Paid Social team summary


Space & Time’s; Time’s Paid Social team produce high-performing social media activity using data-driven approach to create bespoke social media strategies across all verticals, with direct access to agency partners at Meta, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, and TikTok. We are also Meta Premium Partners, giving our clients access to beta opportunities, on-site client reviews and agency forums. Our extensive work with audience development maximises ROI by combining strategic planning with a granular test and learn approach.Our team is at the forefront of solution adoption, leveraging the latest in format betas, testing strategies and third-party data to optimise our clients’ results.



Role Summary


The Paid Social Strategist is responsible for leading the development, execution, and optimisation of paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Pinterest, and Snapchat. This role combines strategic thinking, platform expertise, and analytical insight to drive performance for clients and support broader media strategy.


Key Responsibilities :


  • Exemplary relationship with stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Always adds value with opinions and ideas and has a consistent delivery of required work, ensuring best practice is followed.
  • Proactively manages workflow for the account / team and ensures team remains on target .
  • Total competence of all advanced platform features (with platforms relevant to clients and channel).
  • Set the standard for strategy, proposing new strategies to the team and clients.
  • Be able to pick up and work on any client account at any point.
  • Extensive experience of conceiving, implementing & reviewing campaigns & strategies, which deliver performance and value for clients.
  • Strong working knowledge of pixel implementation and conversion tracking Cross-channel attribution.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Data Studio Strong working knowledge of Excel & PPT.

Commercial Acumen


  • Understand and manage the relationship between client spend, campaign pacing, and forecasting accuracy
  • Align campaign strategies with the client roadmap and CX (Customer Experience) goals.
  • Identify and propose cross-sell or upsell opportunities across media channels.
  • Recommend justified budget increases and creative enhancements
  • Perform strategy audits to uncover new opportunities for both clients and internal teams.


Leadership & Initiative

  • Actively contribute to broader agency initiatives (e.g., new business pitches, company culture, etc.).
  • Delegate effectively to junior colleagues, fostering skill development and better time management.
  • Share relevant knowledge and learnings with colleagues across other digital channels and teams.


Skills and Experience:


  • Hands-on expertise in platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Pinterest, and Snapchat
  • Proven experience in a Paid Social role; agency experience preferred, though strong client-side candidates with relevant biddable media exposure will also be considered.
  • Hands-on expertise in campaign activation, optimisation, and performance analysis across key social platforms.
  • Ability to manage and report on campaign performance, extract actionable insights, and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting ROI and performance targets for allocated accounts.
  • Strong reporting skills with the ability to identify key trends and suggest data-driven improvements.
  • Commercially minded with a proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.
  • A genuine passion for Paid Social media advertising, combined with a positive and enthusiastic approach to challenges.

Strategic & Analytical Thinking


  • Strong reporting skills and the ability to identify patterns and insights across industries.
  • Experience in developing client growth strategies and tech capabilities.
  • Aptitude for conducting strategy audits and offering innovative campaign recommendations.


Collaboration and Mentorship

  • Works closely with junior team members, guiding them on cross-channel opportunities.
  • Capable of proposing full-funnel strategies including budget, targeting, creatives, and KPIs.


Communication Skills


  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable simplifying complex campaign data into understandable insights.
  • Participates in industry forums and events; shares key updates and trends across teams.
  • Capable of challenging clients or vendors constructively when needed.
