Oracle supply chain management consultant

Overview

The Senior Consultant (SCM, Oracle Fusion) will play a key role in diagnosing, stabilizing, and optimizing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations with deep focus on Supply Chain Management (SCM), Procurement, and Planning. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional business and technical teams to resolve system discrepancies, streamline integrations with WMS, and unlock automation and forecasting capabilities across P2P and O2C processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve

  data and process discrepancies

  between Oracle Fusion Cloud and integrated WMS systems.
• Evaluate and redesign

  business workflows

  across Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, and Planning to ensure process alignment and automation.
• Identify and address

  integration gaps

  , transaction sequencing issues, and interface failures between Fusion and WMS (via OIC or other middleware).
• Support the enablement and optimization of

  Oracle EDI / B2B messaging frameworks

  , automating PO-to-payment cycles with vendors.
• Collaborate with client SCM, IT, and warehouse teams to

  prioritize high-value root causes

  , using structured daily discrepancy reviews and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) methods.
• Assess and guide clients on

  system optimization

  , including demand forecasting, replenishment, substitution logic, and use of AI-driven planning capabilities within Fusion.
• Produce

  recommendation reports

  with actionable roadmaps to enhance process efficiency, data accuracy, and automation.
• Lead configuration reviews, documentation of functional setups, and best-practice alignment per Oracle reference architectures.
• Provide SME-level guidance on

  Fusion SCM modules

  (Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Planning, Costing).

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in

  Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM

  implementations, ideally in high-volume or multi-site distribution environments.
• Expertise in

  Procurement, Inventory, and Order Management modules

  ; familiarity with Planning and Manufacturing preferred.
• Strong understanding of

  OIC integrations

  and data synchronization methods between Fusion and WMS.
• Proven experience resolving

  on-hand inventory, PO, and receipt discrepancies

  between systems.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting

  EDI / B2B messaging

  , ACH payment automation, and supplier enablement.
• Solid analytical skills with a

  data-driven problem-solving mindset

  and experience creating reconciliation frameworks.
• Strong communication skills — able to lead client workshops, document findings, and present optimization strategies.

Nice to Have

• Oracle Cloud certification in SCM or Procurement.
• Familiarity with PaaS development or Oracle SQL reporting for reconciliation dashboards.
• Experience working with AI-based forecasting or demand planning tools integrated with Fusion.
