Job Description

Position Title: Oracle Primavera Unifier Consultant / Lead

Department: IT / PMO / Project Controls

Location: Hyderabad, India

Reports To: Delivery Director or Business Solutions and Strategy Director

Role Purpose

The Oracle Primavera Unifier Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Primavera Unifier to streamline project lifecycle management, capital planning, cost control, contract management, and facilities management. The role will work with project, engineering, finance, and IT teams to ensure efficient project execution, governance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implementation & Configuration

  • Implement and configure Oracle Primavera Unifier modules including:
  • Project Controls (Budgets, Commitments, Change Management)
  • Cost Controls & Forecasting
  • Contract Management (RFIs, Submittals, Change Orders)
  • Capital Planning & Portfolio Management
  • Schedule Integration with P6
  • Facilities & Asset Management (if in scope)
  • Configure business processes, workflows, forms, and dashboards within Unifier.
  • Define project structures, cost breakdown structures, funding allocations, and approval hierarchies.

2. Business Process & Requirements

  • Engage with PMO, Engineering, and Finance teams to gather requirements.
  • Map project management and cost control processes to Unifier best practices.
  • Recommend process automation and digital workflows for project controls and reporting.

3. Integration & Reporting

  • Integrate Unifier with Primavera P6, Oracle ERP (Fusion/EBS), BIM tools, and third-party systems.
  • Develop project dashboards, KPIs, and financial reports.
  • Ensure real-time data accuracy between scheduling, cost, and financial systems.

4. Support & Maintenance

  • Provide functional and technical support for Primavera Unifier.
  • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with Oracle Support for SRs.
  • Manage upgrades, patch testing, and deployment of new features.

5. Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure project and cost governance policies are embedded within Unifier workflows.
  • Enforce audit trails, document control, and compliance with project/contract standards.
  • Support project audits and provide accurate reporting for stakeholders.

6. Training & Change Management

  • Deliver user training for project managers, engineers, cost controllers, and finance teams.
  • Develop training materials, SOPs, and process documentation.
  • Drive adoption of Unifier across projects and business units.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in Oracle Primavera Unifier (Cost, Contracts, Project Controls, Capital Planning).
  • Knowledge of Primavera P6 and project management methodologies (PMBOK/Agile/Lean).
  • Experience in cost control, forecasting, and contract administration.
  • Proficiency in Unifier configuration (forms, workflows, business processes).
  • Integration experience with ERP systems, Primavera P6, BIM, or document management tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction, IT, or related field.
  • Oracle Primavera Unifier Certification preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience with Primavera Unifier, with at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
  • Experience in Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Capital Projects industry desirable.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is an added advantage.

KPIs for Performance Evaluation

  • Successful implementation and stabilization of Unifier business processes.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of project cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Reduction in manual project management and contract administration processes.
  • Compliance with project governance, contracts, and audit requirements.
  • End-user adoption and stakeholder satisfaction with Unifier.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
