About the Role

Oracle Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering:

    Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Solution Design & Configuration:

    Configure Oracle ERP modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, HCM, Procurement, Projects) to meet business requirements.
  • Functional Testing:

    Prepare test scripts, perform unit and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Implementation Support:

    Assist in Oracle ERP implementation, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • End-User Support:

    Provide functional support for day-to-day issues, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Documentation:

    Create and maintain system documentation, including process flows, training materials, and functional design documents.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with technical teams for customization, integration, and reporting requirements.
  • Compliance & Best Practices:

    Ensure solutions adhere to industry standards, compliance requirements, and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience:

  • 4+ years as an Oracle Functional Consultant.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules.
  • Strong functional knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
  • Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
  • Supply Chain Management (PO, INV, OM)
  • Human Capital Management (HCM)
  • Projects / Procurement
  • Expertise in requirement gathering, business process mapping, and gap analysis.
  • Strong understanding of ERP implementation methodologies (AIM, OUM, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle Cloud ERP certification(s).
  • Experience with multi-country, multi-currency ERP environments.
  • Exposure to integration tools and reporting (BI Publisher, OTBI).
  • Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
