Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain, inventory, and daily operations. This role is critical in ensuring efficient processes, maintaining product quality, and supporting strategic growth across multiple facets of the business. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in the FMCG or F&B sectors, with a focus on process improvement, team leadership, and alignment with organizational goals.

Role & Responsibilities:

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee supply chain management, from sourcing raw materials to product delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely procurement and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement efficient stock management systems.
• Ensure quality control for all product lines, adhering to industry standards and customer expectations.
• Manage logistics and distribution to ensure on-time delivery across all channels.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align product availability with demand forecasts.
• Oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and customer experience.
• Manage procurement and quality assurance for FMCG and F&B sectors.
• Monitor packaging processes to ensure consistency and aesthetic appeal.
• Implement systems to maintain hygiene and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Lead initiatives for reducing operational costs while maintaining product quality.
• Coordinate with event teams to manage resources for community events hosted.
• Must be willing to travel extensively across India and internationally, as required, to fulfill operational and business objectives.

General Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and scalability across startups.
• Hire, train, and manage teams across different functional areas.
• Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational success.
• Identify and mitigate risks in processes, ensuring business continuity.
• Collaborate with founders and senior leadership to align operations with strategic goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to implement innovative solutions.

Skills

• Proven experience in operations management within FMCG or F&B sectors.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management, quality assurance, and process optimization.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with tools like ERP systems, inventory management software, and CRM tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Experience

Minimum of 4 years of experience in operations management within FMCG or F&B sectors.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred), Hotel management.
