Job Title: Sales Executive – Logistics Services Location: [Chennai/Tamil Nadu] Department: Sales / Business Development Reporting To: Sales Manager / Branch Manager Role Summary: The Sales Executive – Logistics Services is responsible for acquiring new customers and growing business from existing accounts for the company’s logistics offerings in PAN India cargo movement in Air, Surface and Train modes . The role involves prospecting, solution selling, preparing proposals, and coordinating with operations to ensure high service levels and customer retention. Key responsibilities Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers for the company’s logistics services (domestic and/or international, as applicable). Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for revenue, volume, and margin . Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat and cross-sell business. Understand customer supply chain and logistics needs and recommend suitable service solutions (e.g., FCL/LCL, air and tTrain shipments Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and presentations; negotiate prices, terms, and contracts within company guidelines. Coordinate closely with operations, documentation, and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments and services. Monitor ongoing shipments, proactively resolve service issues, and keep customers updated on status and exceptions. Maintain an up‑to‑date sales pipeline, visit reports, and customer data in the CRM or reporting formats. Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities. Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and networking forums as required.
