Job Description

Role Overview

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency across departments, mentoring team leads, tracking hiring and performance, and maintaining clear reporting lines directly to the Directors and Head Office Australia.

This role requires excellent communication, structured workflow management, and leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People

  • Support and coordinate multi-branch operations across all teams.
  • Work closely with HR to track hiring, onboarding, attendance and workforce planning.
  • Mentor and guide department/team leaders to ensure accountability and professional development.
  • Drive a positive, disciplined and performance-oriented culture.

Operations & Workflow Management

  • Oversee workflow from sales → design → network approval → installation → inspection → STC submission.
  • Coordinate installer scheduling, resource allocation and project timelines.
  • Ensure service tickets, customer concerns and warranty cases are handled promptly.
  • Maintain operational discipline and SOP adherence across branches.

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports across all departments.
  • Consolidate KPIs and present clear operational updates to Directors and Head Office Australia.
  • Highlight risks, improvements, staff performance, delays and action plans.
  • Ensure internal communication between branches and Australian head office remains consistent and transparent.

Requirements

  • Experience in Operations, Team Leadership or Project Coordination (Solar industry preferred).
  • Strong reporting skills — ability to compile, analyse and present data clearly.
  • Ability to manage multi-branch operations and multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication (written + verbal) and organisational skills.
  • Tech confident (Excel/Sheets + CRM/job management tools).
