Operations Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced *Operations Manager – Fixed Clients to lead and grow our EV Fleet operations in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should come from the EV fleet industry (companies such as Moving, Zypp, 3eco, eTo, Magenta, etc.) and have hands-on experience managing key enterprise clients, including Zomato, HP, Flipkart, DHL, Amazon, and similar partners.

This role involves end-to-end operational ownership, P&L management, and team leadership, with a strong focus on client retention, process efficiency, and business growth in the Fixed Clients vertical.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:

• Manage and nurture relationships with key enterprise clients in the Fixed Fleet segment.
• Ensure high service quality, client satisfaction, and timely issue resolution.
• Identify opportunities to expand business within existing client accounts.

Operational Excellence:

• Oversee day-to-day fleet operations ensuring uptime, utilization, and efficiency targets are met.
• Maintain minimum 50+ active fleet vehicles as revenue-generating units.
• Monitor vehicle performance, driver productivity, and operational compliance.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, safety norms, and process guidelines.

Team Leadership:

• Manage a team of 5+ operations executives/supervisors/drivers.
• Drive performance, team engagement, and accountability across all levels.
• Conduct regular training and process audits for the team.

P&L Ownership:

• Own city-level P&L for the Fixed Clients vertical.
• Monitor revenues, costs, and margins; implement cost optimization initiatives.
• Drive sustainable profitability and operational efficiency.

Business Growth:

• Identify and onboard new fixed clients to grow the city’s revenue base.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Fleet Supply teams for expansion.
• Analyze market trends to develop new business strategies for the vertical.

Requirement:

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years in EV Fleet Operations / Logistics / Last-Mile Delivery.
• Industry Background: Must have worked with EV fleet companies like Moving, Zypp, 3eco, To, Magenta, or similar.
• Client Handling: Proven experience managing enterprise clients such as Zomato, Flipkart, DHL, Amazon, HP, etc.
• Team Management: Minimum 5 direct reports(supervisors/executives/drivers).
• Fleet Management:* Must have managed 50+ vehicles as part of operations.

Skills:

• Strong P&L understanding and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and fleet management tools.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field.
• MBA preferred (not mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
