About the Company:

Channelling Bees is a fast-growing advertising company specializing in digital out-of-home (DOOH) media. With a network of strategically placed high-impact digital LED screens across Chennai, we enable businesses to amplify their brand visibility. Our operations are built on innovation, compliance, and service excellence.

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to take charge of all activities related to screen management — from installations and maintenance to permissions and compliance.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end operation of all digital LED screens.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Creative teams to ensure accurate and timely scheduling and deployment of advertising campaigns on screens.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for uptime monitoring, troubleshooting, and service schedules, Ensure regular audits and physical inspections of screen locations.
  • Coordinate with municipal authorities, local corporations, traffic police, and other government bodies for required permissions, renewals, and legal compliance.
  • Develop and implement rapid response protocols for technical issues, breakdowns, and emergencies.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors for screen installation, maintenance, and technical support.
  • Develop and manage the annual operational budget, for current and upcoming screen installations tracking expenditures and identifying areas for cost optimization.
  • Ensure operational excellence contributes to high client satisfaction by delivering reliable and impactful advertising solutions. Address any operational concerns or issues raised by clients promptly and effectively.
  • Generate regular reports on operational performance, screen uptime, maintenance activities, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and provide training where required.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in operations, preferably in digital signage, outdoor advertising, or infrastructure.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using operations software/tools, spreadsheets content management systems, and networking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of the Chennai market and local regulations is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Tamil and English is preferred.
