Operations Executive / Operations Manager

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1.

Daily Operational Oversight

  • Manage day-to-day EV rental operations including vehicle allocation, routing, and customer coordination.
  • Ensure seamless vehicle dispatch, handovers, and returns across locations.
2.

Fleet Coordination

  • Work closely with the fleet management team to ensure vehicle availability and readiness.
  • Monitor EV charging, battery health, and vehicle hygiene standards.
  • Ensure timely servicing and reduce vehicle downtime.
3.

Customer & Booking Management

  • Oversee bookings (B2B or B2C), ensuring on-time vehicle deliveries and pickups.
  • Handle escalations, delays, or complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with customer support and tech teams for smooth user experience.
4.

Team Supervision

  • Supervise drivers, field executives, and ground staff.
  • Conduct regular briefings, assign tasks, and monitor shift adherence and performance.
  • Maintain proper shift rosters and operational discipline.
5.

Vendor & Partner Coordination

  • Liaise with third-party vendors for maintenance, charging stations, insurance, and logistics.
  • Manage contracts and SLAs to ensure smooth vendor performance.
6.

Data Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain dashboards and daily MIS reports on fleet status, trip logs, utilization, breakdowns, and cost.
  • Submit weekly/monthly reports to senior management with operational KPIs.
7.

Cost & Efficiency Management

  • Optimize route planning, vehicle utilization, and manpower deployment to reduce operational cost.
  • Track and control expenses related to charging, servicing, and manpower.
8.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all vehicles are compliant with RTO, insurance, pollution, and safety norms.
  • Maintain updated documentation for each vehicle, driver, and operational process.
9.

Incident Management

  • Handle road incidents, breakdowns, theft, or accidents promptly.
  • Coordinate with local authorities, insurance agencies, and legal teams when required.
10.

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies in daily operations and propose improvements.
  • Work on SOP creation and policy implementation to streamline operations.

  • Skills & Tools Required:
    • Strong operational management skills
    • Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, fleet management software
    • Understanding of EV ecosystem (charging infra, battery performance)
    • Good communication and coordination skills
    • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
