This Position Reports To Head, India Operations Center - PA Your role and responsibilities In this role you will be responsible for leading diverse team of engineers, technical specialists, project engineering specialists within Process Automation Business Area, supporting Electrical Engineering and Automation Hardware design & Integration businesses, develop required competencies in line with projects requirement. This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. You Will Be Mainly Accountable For Responsible for total workforce of 150+ engineering team working for Energy Industries supporting Electrical engineering, commissioning & Hardware design in INOPC PA spread across Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, NCR. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and efficiency. Build engineering/operational capability through training, mentoring and shadowing programs to develop experts. Ensure demand forecast is continuously collected, updated and disseminated to relevant teams in time for effective demand / supply management. Ensures that engineering teams are adequately resourced, developed and equipped to meet business needs. Provides direction & support to project teams where needed in ensuring successful project delivery of projects with a focus on safety, on time delivery, quality and margin improvement. Develops, implements and improves relevant processes, tools, policies and procedures to improve efficiency across the project lifecycle Guides, motivates, coaches and develops employees reporting directly and indirectly, within HR policies. Drive innovation mindset in team & continuous improvement. Qualifications For The Role Degree in Electrical / Electronics engineering discipline. Experience (20+ years) in Sales, Business Development, Bid Management & Proposals across in energy / process industries. Good knowledge of electrical engineering in areas of Equipment Engineering, plant engineering, power system studies etc. Experience in managing a team of Specialists / Experienced Project Engineers in Electrical, Hardware design. Solid understanding of Energy Industry domain (Oil & Gas / Chemical & Refineries / Power & Water/Offshore) preferably or any process industries. Solid knowledge of various international engineering standards. Experience in working in international environments with different cultures and languages and managing stakeholders of varying management levels. Superior spoken and written English language skills. Flexible, mobile & collaborative. Open to travel internationally when required.
