Operations Analyst

New York-based Private Credit investment firm with $2.5bn capital deployed, looking for an Operations Analyst in India.

Industrial Development Funding (IDF) is looking for a candidate in India (Gurgaon), who will support business operations and portfolio management activities and function as an integral part of a close-knit group of investment professionals. Based in New York, IDF invests in Sustainable Industrial Development & Growth by providing strategic project-level debt/equity investments to world-class industrial companies, with emphasis in the energy and aviation sectors. The firm spun out of a preeminent global asset management platform and is supported by extensive Industrial client and investor partnerships, a significant pipeline of growth opportunities, and a network of senior advisors.

Successful candidates will likely possess:

• 3-5 years' experience in financial services with a preference for i-banking, private equity, venture capital, project finance, infrastructure funds, debt investing, or a similar background
• Portfolio management activities, including project tracking & monitoring, back office platform operations, live transaction operation support, and managing 3rd party operational tools, including CRM 
• Market Research, Data Analysis, and Reporting
• Day-to-day business operations knowledge with an automation mindset to maximize efficiency 
• Process Optimization, including identifying inefficiencies in operational workflows and implementing process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency. 
• Leverage financial software, Excel, and other tools to automate processes and enhance operational efficiency
• Data Management, including maintaining and updating databases for investments, transactions, and client information
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility in working hours, to ensure efficient overlap with US-based company headquarters

Successful candidates will have significant exposure to business leaders and highly influential investment pools (e.g., global banks, large investment managers, sovereign wealth funds, l) across the globe.
