Operations Manager (Inventory, Finance, and E-Commerce) Pay: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Location: Kota (with travel to Bombay as needed) --- About Us We are a family-owned handbag business based in Kota and Bombay, operating in both wholesale and retail markets. We are driven by design, speed, and customer satisfaction—and we’re looking for someone equally passionate to help us scale operations smoothly. --- Role Overview This is a startup-style role with end-to-end ownership. You’ll manage all backend operations, including inventory, accounts, and online sales (especially Amazon). You’ll be our go-to person for stock tracking, financial reporting, and online storefront accuracy. This isn’t a "weekly update" role—it’s for someone who thrives in day-to-day control and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves. --- Key Responsibilities Inventory Management Maintain accurate daily stock records across Kota and Bombay. Track inbound stock from manufacturers and ensure timely GRNs. Monitor fast-moving items and avoid stockouts. Conduct regular physical audits and reconcile discrepancies. Finance & Accounting (Acting Finance Lead) Maintain purchase and sales ledgers. Prepare revenue, stock, and expense reports for the owners. Collaborate with the CA for filings and taxes. Monitor cash flow and vendor payments. Track profitability of each business line monthly by stores and location. E-Commerce & Online Listings Ensure accurate stock representation on Amazon and other platforms. Manage product listings (images, descriptions, pricing, stock). Track online order flow and customer dispatches. Resolve listing issues, customer returns, or listing penalties quickly. Build and manage a small team to ensure profitability. Ensure total earnings exceed operational costs (e.g., staff salaries, listing expenses, etc.). Immediate corrective action is expected if profitability is not achieved. Communication & Coordination Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, and transporters for delivery and billing. Keep the owner/family updated on key metrics—stock levels, revenue trends, etc. Occasionally travel to Bombay to inspect warehouse stock or coordinate with vendors. --- What We’re Looking For Prior experience in operations, inventory, or e-commerce is a big plus. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills. Proactive attitude—can take initiative and solve problems independently. Trustworthy and organized.
