Job Title: Operations Manager Location: Siliguri, West Bengal Department: Operations Reports To: Director / General Manager Experience: Minimum 6–10 years in operations, preferably in the tea or FMCG industry Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration / Operations Management or relevant field Salary: Negotiable Job Summary: The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Head Office, ensuring that processes run efficiently and effectively across departments. This role is responsible for implementing systems, coordinating inter-departmental functions, managing workflows, and supporting business growth through operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage daily operations at the Head Office, ensuring smooth coordination between departments (Accounts, HR, Sales, Dispatch, Procurement, etc.) Develop and implement operational procedures, policies, and systems to increase efficiency and productivity. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare periodic performance reports for management. Liaise with department heads to align operational goals and ensure timely execution of company strategies. Handle resource planning, office infrastructure, and vendor management. Lead initiatives for process improvements, cost reduction, and operational effectiveness. Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Assist in budgeting, inventory planning, logistics, and procurement as needed. Support HR and admin in employee onboarding, discipline, and overall coordination. Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend corrective actions. Required Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and operations software. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
