Operation Manager

Lumina Books, the publishing arm of India Authors Academy, empowers book writers with professional hybrid publishing solutions. We provide end-to-end support, helping authors bring their stories to life under a trusted brand. Role Overview We are seeking a Publishing Operations Manager to manage author publishing requests, coordinate projects, and ensure successful delivery of books. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, with a passion for books and author success. Key Responsibilities Client Communication & Onboarding Act as the primary contact for authors and guide them through the publishing journey. Project Coordination Oversee book projects and ensure smooth collaboration between authors and creative teams. Quality & Timelines Monitor project progress, maintain standards, and ensure deadlines are met. Process Management Maintain accurate records, track deliverables, and support workflow efficiency. Reporting & Feedback Share regular project updates with leadership and highlight key insights. Book formatting Support in formatting the books and help customers with marketing. (will be trained) Digital marketing and social media management Create and publish content for on social media about the brand and success stories of the customer Experience: 2–5 years in publishing, project management, client servicing, or operations. Experience in a publishing house, content/creative agency, or book-related industry preferred. Skills: Excellent command on English and Hindi language (Verbal and written).  Strong communication & interpersonal skills (must be friendly and empathetic). Excellent organizational & project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines. Tech-savvy (comfortable with project management tools, Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Workspace, Trello/Asana, etc.). Knowledge of digital marketing and of social media management Problem-solving and proactive attitude.
