What You Will Be Doing

• Architecting and implementing sophisticated infrastructure transformations, including legacy-to-AWS migrations and lift-and-shift operations
• Creating comprehensive monitoring frameworks and developing automation solutions for system oversight, deployment pipelines, and operational processes
• Managing system health through proactive monitoring, implementing robust backup strategies, leading incident resolution, orchestrating database migrations, optimizing database configurations, and driving cost efficiency initiatives

Network Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Champion reliability and standardization across our expanding product ecosystem by implementing enterprise-grade monitoring systems, intelligent automation frameworks, and AWS architectural best practices.
  

Basic Requirements

• Comprehensive AWS platform mastery (as our core infrastructure environment - complementary cloud experience alone is insufficient)
• Advanced programming capabilities in Python or JavaScript for developing automation solutions and operational tooling
• Proven expertise in managing and transitioning production-grade databases across multiple engines (including MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL)
• Sophisticated containerization knowledge with Docker/Kubernetes ecosystems
• Demonstrated proficiency with infrastructure-as-code platforms (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
• Expert-level Linux systems administration capabilities

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
