Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator with strong expertise in Cisco devices to join our IT team at Rhinexa India Pvt. Ltd. This role focuses on designing, configuring, and maintaining Cisco-based network infrastructure to ensure high performance, security, and reliability, aligning with our mission to deliver cutting-edge cybersecurity and digital transformation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, deploy, and manage Cisco network devices, including routers (e.g., Cisco ISR, ASR), switches (e.g., Catalyst 9000 series), and firewalls (e.g., Cisco Firepower).
• Monitor and optimize network performance using Cisco tools like Cisco DNA Center, SolarWinds, or Wireshark to identify and resolve connectivity or performance issues.
• Implement and maintain Cisco security solutions, such as Cisco Secure Firewall, VPNs, and ISE (Identity Services Engine), to protect client and internal networks.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues on Cisco infrastructure, including VLAN misconfigurations, STP issues, and routing protocol failures (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
• Perform regular maintenance on Cisco devices, including IOS/IOS-XE upgrades, patch management, and backup configurations.
• Design and implement Cisco-based network solutions, including LAN/WAN setups, SD-WAN deployments (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Viptela), and wireless networks using Cisco WLCs.
• Document network topologies, configurations, and change logs, ensuring compliance with Rhinexa’s operational and cybersecurity standards.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to integrate Cisco solutions with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and ensure secure network operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in network administration, with a focus on Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco networking protocols (e.g., VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and technologies (e.g., QoS, MPLS, SD-WAN).
• Proficiency with Cisco security tools (e.g., Firepower, ISE, Umbrella) and network monitoring platforms.
• Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, or CCNP Security) are highly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Cisco-based environments, with experience using CLI and diagnostic tools like packet tracer or tcpdump.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and clients.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Cisco SD-WAN (e.g., Meraki, Viptela) or Cisco ACI for data center networking.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure VNet) and integration with Cisco infrastructure.
• Knowledge of scripting for network automation (e.g., Python, Ansible) to streamline Cisco device management.
