Description
As a Network Infrastructure Manager at SOTI, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all infrastructure components, including Network Infrastructure and Security Applications and Appliances. Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating and maintaining supporting documentation such as Network Infrastructure diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Disaster Recovery Plans, and IT policies and procedures. - Establishing network specifications by analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements, and designing router administration. - Evaluating network performance issues, planning and executing equipment selection, installation, configuration, and testing, defining network policies and procedures, and establishing connections and firewalls. - Maintaining network performance through monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning, troubleshooting network problems, and escalating issues to vendors. - Securing the network by developing network access, monitoring control, and evaluation. - Upgrading the network by developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements. - Coordinating with key stakeholders to identify future needs and requirements and develop future state architecture. - Providing level 3 technical expertise for projects and issues related to Network infrastructure. - Ensuring the security of information technology assets, data, network access, and backup systems, and implementing monitoring and alerting systems. You will bring the following experience to the role: - University Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networking, Engineering, or a related technical field. - 2-5 years of progressive experience in IT Networking and/or Server Infrastructure. - Fundamental understanding of Network Performance Tuning, LAN, and WAN protocols, Network Design and Implementation, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and Routing. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, report and documentation writing skills. - Practical experience in managing network software and hardware devices, monitoring tools, methodologies, escalation processes, and procedures. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, customer focus, ownership, urgency, drive, ability to mentor and train others, communication skills, and organization skills. Nice to have qualifications include relevant certifications (Network +, Security +, CCNA, CCSA), experience with Checkpoint Products, and experience with HP/Aruba Product. Please note that some evening and weekend work may be required, as well as the ability to provide 24-hour on-call and on-site emergency support.
