System Administrator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Windows and Network System Administrator with expertise in VMware technologies to manage our Windows-based infrastructure, virtualized environments, and network systems at Rhinexa India Pvt. Ltd. This role focuses on administering Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, VMware virtualization, basic networking, and antivirus solutions while handling day-to-day system administration tasks. The ideal candidate will excel in communication and problem-solving to support users and maintain seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Windows Server environments (e.g., Windows Server 2016/2019/2022), including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Manage Active Directory services, including user/group management, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), domain controllers, and LDAP integration for secure access control.
• Oversee Microsoft Exchange Server or Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, managing email configurations, mailbox policies, spam filtering, and high availability.
• Deploy and manage VMware virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter), including virtual machine creation, resource allocation, and performance optimization.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall configurations to ensure connectivity and security.
• Implement and manage antivirus and endpoint protection solutions (e.g., Microsoft Defender, TrendMicro, Kaspersky) to detect and mitigate security threats.
• Handle day-to-day system administration tasks, such as user account provisioning, hardware/software troubleshooting, backups, restores, and system performance tuning.
• Perform VMware-related tasks, including vMotion, DRS, HA configurations, and integration with Windows and network environments.
• Provide technical support to end-users via ticketing systems, remote assistance, or on-site help, communicating solutions clearly and effectively.
• Collaborate with IT teams on system upgrades, migrations (e.g., to Azure AD, hybrid cloud, or VMware-based solutions), and maintain detailed documentation.
• Conduct system audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks to align with Rhinexa’s cybersecurity and operational standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in system administration, with strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and VMware technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows technologies, including Active Directory (AD DS, AD FS), Group Policies, and PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Proficiency in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter, including VM management, clustering, and storage configurations (e.g., vSAN).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange administration, including hybrid setups, DAGs (Database Availability Groups), and Outlook/OWA integration.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and tools for monitoring network performance.
• Experience with antivirus/EDR solutions and best practices for malware protection and incident response.
• Certifications such as Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, VMware VCP-DCV, or CompTIA Network+ are highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and document procedures clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex, day-to-day IT challenges independently or collaboratively.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, VMware vSphere Data Protection) and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automating Windows and VMware tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
