Package Specialist – Oracle Industry Solutions (NetSuite Developer)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage NetSuite customizations including fields, lists, records, forms, roles, dashboards, and saved searches.
• Design and develop SuiteScripts (2.0 & 2.1) to automate processes and support existing functionality.
• Create and customize advanced PDF templates to meet business requirements.
• Develop integrations and interfaces with third-party systems using REST APIs and SuiteTalk web services.
• Design and implement NetSuite Workflows (SuiteFlow) for automation and process improvements.
• Translate business logic and requirements into technical designs and implement effective NetSuite solutions.
• Participate in all aspects of NetSuite development, including back-end customization and deployment.
• Develop and maintain data migration tools for customer data import and transformation.
• Document code, configurations, and change logs, ensuring transparency and traceability.
• Review and validate solutions with management before deployment.
• Provide go-live and post-implementation support, resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
• Develop and deploy standalone custom applications outside of core NetSuite when required.
  

Must-Have Skills

• 4–6 years of experience in NetSuite development and SuiteScript (2.0 / 2.1).
• Strong expertise in NetSuite customization, workflows (SuiteFlow), and SuiteAnalytics.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, and CSS.
• Experience integrating NetSuite with external systems via REST API, SOAP, or SuiteTalk.
• Strong understanding of SuiteBuilder and NetSuite’s internal architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience collaborating in diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and project management principles.
  

Good To Have

• NetSuite SuiteFoundation and SuiteCloud Developer Certification (SCA or SuiteScript Developer).
• Hands-on experience with SuiteScript 1.0 (legacy script maintenance).
• Strong understanding of NetSuite boundary systems and ERP ecosystem.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud / Oracle ERP integration principles.
• Experience working in public sector or enterprise-scale ERP environments.
• Exposure to Agile / DevOps development practices.
