About The Role
We are seeking a
Lead NetSuite Administrator
with strong solutioning capabilities to join our Finance Systems team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for driving improvements, eliminating technical debt, and modernizing key financial workflows across our NetSuite landscape. You will be a hands-on technical leader, helping guide the team, while delivering robust, scalable solutions for a global growth-stage company.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and Optimize: Take ownership of our existing NetSuite instance and lead an overhaul of outdated SuiteScripts and configurations.
- Revenue Recognition & ARM: Support and optimize NetSuite ARM (Advanced Revenue Management), including the buildout and fine-tuning of revenue recognition rules and schedules.
- Zone Advanced Billing (ZAB): Configure and support complex billing scenarios using Zone Advanced Billing; act as SME for this tool within Neo4j.
- Order-to-Cash Automation: Redesign and automate the Salesforce-to-NetSuite order process, eliminating manual handoffs.
- Amendment & Renewal Logic: Define and implement scalable flows for processing amendments, early renewals, and deal changes.
- Systems Integration & Projects: Lead technical design for major Finance projects; support integrations, module rollouts, and system upgrades.
- Mentor & Lead: Act as the senior-most technical admin on the Finance Systems team, mentoring staff and defining best practices.
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years hands-on experience as a NetSuite Administrator or Technical Consultant.
- Expertise in SuiteScript 2.0 (reviewing, debugging, writing) and ability to clean up legacy scripts.
- Demonstrated experience with Zone Advanced Billing (ZAB) – must have.
- Strong exposure to NetSuite ARM / Advanced Revenue Management.
- Familiarity with Salesforce-NetSuite integration patterns.
- Experience in Finance process design: revenue recognition, billing, renewals, and amendments.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience at a software company with on-premise license, usage-based, and/or complex subscription revenue models.
- Exposure to Workato, Boomi, Celigo, or similar iPaaS tools.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements like ASC 606 and SOX.
