Job Title
National Manager - Business Development & OEM Sales(Industrial Power Transmission)This role is accountable for driving the Industrial Power Transmission Business from OEMs & End Users across India, focusing on generating leads, identifying new business opportunities, converting into business revenue and driving growth through technical sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify & develop business opportunities in industrial sectors.
- Analyze market trends & competition & customer updates to define Go-to-market strategies.
- Develop & implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets, new customers and applications for industrial power transmission products.
- Lead Generation, conversion of opportunities into business wins through techno-commercial sales.
- Technical & Application Engineering & Sales Support with Process Management from design to concept to delivery including feasibility, sample build, trials, validation & customer approvals till supply regularization.
- Customer Engagement through technical seminars & support on belt drive solutions.
- Support field sales team & channel partners on new customers, product portfolio & conversions.
- OEM Sales Management
- Establish & manage strategic relationships with key OEMs/End Users across India.
- Collaborate with OEMs/End Users/Channel partners for product customization/value engineering.
- Coordinate with product management & global engineering teams for belt drive product solutions.
- Techno-commercial Sales on RFQ, Quotes, Negotiation, Sales closure & Sales Order Management.
- Provide periodic sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence.
- Consistently achieve revenue goals on business development & sales targets and deliver other KPIs.
- Cross Functional Team colloboration with Regional Field Sales, MU, Operations & Finance teams.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management & support.
- Customer complaint handling and timely resolution.
- Adoption of CRM Salesforce management & MIS Reporting.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with expertise in Design/Application Engineering preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in industrial B2B sales handling OEMs & End Users in power transmission sectors.
- Industry Knowledge with In-depth understanding of power transmission products (belts, chains, drives, etc.).
- Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of Techno-commercial sales driving revenue growth and new business development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in languages of English & Spoken Hindi and local languages.
- Willingness to travel extensively across regions.
