Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Manage and grow sales through modern trade channels (e.g., supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores, cash & carry). Negotiate trading terms and joint business plans with key accounts. Ensure execution of national and regional sales strategies across modern trade partners. Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with category managers, buyers, and store managers. Monitor stock levels, planogram compliance, and point-of-sale materials. Collaborate with supply chain and merchandising teams to ensure product availability and visibility. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales performance, market trends, and consumer behavior within modern trade. Track ROI of promotions and campaigns; recommend improvements. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support the sales representatives or merchandisers operating in modern trade. Conduct regular training and performance reviews. Marketing & Promotions: Coordinate with marketing teams to plan and implement consumer promotions and visibility campaigns. Manage promotional budgets and ensure execution within timelines and costs. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus). 5+ years of experience in sales or key account management within FMCG, retail, or consumer goods. Proven track record of managing modern trade accounts. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
