Salary: ₹35,000 per month

Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organized Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the flow of products from the warehouse to retail outlets, ensuring optimal stock levels, and supporting the sales team in promoting products effectively. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment while building strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Planning & Stock Management:
• Ensure timely and accurate replenishment of products to stores/retailers.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts, ensuring the right inventory levels at all times.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to plan product orders based on sales forecasts and trends.
• Visual Merchandising:
• Work closely with store teams to create visually appealing product displays that increase customer engagement and sales.
• Maintain and enhance store displays and manage the visual presentation of products.
• Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure the timely delivery of products.
• Negotiate with suppliers to get the best pricing, delivery schedules, and quality of products.
• Sales Support:
• Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to provide insights to the sales team.
• Assist in the creation of promotional plans, ensuring products are well-positioned for maximum sales.
• Reporting & Analysis:
• Monitor and analyze sales data to track performance, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.
• Provide regular updates and reports on stock status, sales performance, and merchandising activities.
• Customer Interaction:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and retailers.
• Address any customer feedback or issues related to products, availability, and display.

Requirements:

• Education: Must be Qualified NIFT
• Experience:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in merchandising or retail management.
• Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced retail environment is preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data.
• A keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other merchandising software.
• Other Requirements:
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel to different retail locations if needed.
• A passion for fashion/retail (depending on industry).
