Knitting Execution Run production and sample programs as per tech pack/merchandiser instructions. Monitor in-progress knitting for defects (missed stitches, holes, stripes, yarn breakage). Key Responsibilities Programming & Pattern Development Create, edit, and simulate knitting programs using STOLL M1plus software. Translate tech packs, sketches, and knit designs into machine-readable code. Develop patterns, textures, intarsia, jacquards, structures and engineered panels as per design. Work closely with designers and merchandisers to interpret aesthetics technically. Sampling & Production Support Execute knitting trials and finalize programs for sampling & bulk. Fine-tune machine settings (gauge, tension, yarn paths) in coordination with senior operators. Document and maintain archives of all programs with fabric specs, yarn details, and machine settings. Quality & Troubleshooting Evaluate the knitted panels for defects, yarn compatibility, and program accuracy.
