Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for frequent on-site interventions in India and abroad, managing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems. You will play a key part in ensuring project quality, adherence to standards, and timely execution, while working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams on an international scale.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Execution

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment on client sites in India and internationally.
• Ensure all work is executed according to design specifications, project requirements, and applicable codes/standards.
• Monitor project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.

2. Quality & Compliance

• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Review and approve technical drawings, plans, and material specifications.

3. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• Attend site meetings and provide accurate project updates to management.
• Maintain direct communication with clients to address technical inquiries and ensure satisfaction.

4. Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving

• Identify, analyze, and resolve mechanical issues that arise during project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and support to technicians and site personnel.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed site reports, inspection records, and project documentation.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to management.
• Ensure all project records are accurately documented for future reference.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical installation, commissioning, and site supervision (experience with international projects is an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, design specifications, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and MS Office tools.
• Availability to travel frequently for on-site assignments in India and abroad.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
