Who We’re Looking For : We’re looking for a dynamic Marketing and Business Development Executive who blends creativity with strategy. Someone who can brainstorm and execute ideas from scratch, who understands both the science of growth and the art of storytelling . Someone who thrives in a startup environment, experiments boldly, and handles situations professionally—with clarity, empathy, and executional efficiency. If you’re excited by music, technology, and brand building—and love solving problems hands-on—this is your playground. Key Responsibilities : Drive marketing strategy, sales, and business development efforts for Shopolo Music and allied verticals. Build partnerships and close B2B/B2C sales pipelines across music labels, production houses, content creators, and agencies. Collaborate with the content and social team to design effective product campaigns, contests, and outreach strategies. Ideate and run grassroots marketing and low-cost, high-impact experiments. With the combined team effort, generate qualified leads through email campaigns, cold outreach, and strategic relationship-building. Develop growth experiments and track performance metrics to guide marketing decisions. Coordinate with the tech and design teams during the dashboard launch, ensuring strong visibility and onboarding traction. Represent the brand in client meetings, pitch sessions, and industry events. Prepare detailed monthly reports and strategic marketing plans for leadership review. Explore monetization avenues (sync, branded content, creator campaigns, etc.) with a long-term view. Required Skills & Qualities We Value : 2–4 years of experience in marketing/growth/business development (preferably in music, entertainment, startups, or D2C). You know how to take an idea from whiteboard to execution independently . Passionate about music, branding, digital media, and creator ecosystems. Proficient in communication (English, Hindi, and Assamese). Prior experience in running successful brand campaigns or community initiatives is a big plus. Hands-on with tools like Google Sheets, Docs, Canva, Notion, CRM tools, etc. Organized, responsible, and obsessed with smart execution and ethical growth.
