Job Role Overview:

Manufacturing Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise manufacturing operations on the shop floor including cutting, welding, assembly, powder coating, and packaging.
• Ensure adherence to daily production schedules and quality benchmarks.
• Monitor worker performance and provide guidance to meet efficiency goals.
• Coordinate with the design, inventory, and dispatch teams to ensure seamless workflow. (Cross-functional coordination and support)
• Enforce factory safety protocols and cleanliness standards.
• Conduct routine checks on machinery and coordinate with maintenance team for preventive actions.
• Ensure raw materials and finished goods are handled with care and tracked properly.
• Train new workers and upskill existing staff on production techniques and safety standards.
• Prepare daily production reports and escalate issues to the Factory Manager when needed.
• Implement lean practices to minimize waste and improve productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 years of experience as a floor supervisor or in a manufacturing unit
• Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, or powder coating processes is a plus
• Leadership and commanding qualities with ability to manage workers from diverse backgrounds
• Hands-on approach with ability to multitask and solve on-the-floor challenges
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality assurance processes
• Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation
• Diploma/ITI/B-tech in Mechanical, Production, or related trades preferred
