1. Machine Procurement & Setup
Assist management in selecting suitable CNC and VMC machines
Coordinate with OEMs/suppliers for delivery, installation & commissioning
Oversee utility setup – power, air, coolant, and foundations
2. Facility Layout & Readiness
Design efficient shop floor layout for material flow and operations
Setup of tool racks, workbenches, raw material storage, etc.
Ensure statutory compliance (factory license, fire safety, etc.)
3. Operations Management
Supervise CNC/VMC operators and shop-floor activities
Manage daily production schedule and track job completion
Maintain production logs, machine output, and rework reports
4. Quality & Maintenance
Implement basic in-process and final inspection checks
Ensure machines run at optimum efficiency and coordinate AMC/service
Initiate preventive maintenance program
5. Hiring & Training
Assist in recruiting skilled machine operators and helpers
Train staff in safety, quality, and work discipline
6. Vendor development
Manage tooling, jigs/fixtures, and cutting tool procurement
Develop Vendor for our other Manufacturing needs.
Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering
2 to 4 years in CNC/VMC operations, machine installation, or factory setup
Hands-on experience in part programming, tooling, and shift management
Strong technical knowledge of CNC/VMC machines and maintenance
Good leadership, people handling, and communication skills
Working knowledge of quality systems (ISO, 5S, etc.)
