Role Overview

Manager / Senior Manager Business Development

This is a high-impact role requiring a top-down selling approach, strong techno-commercial understanding, and the ability to position Srishti Resins’ solutions as a superior value-add to customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth & Market Development

  • Develop and execute strategic business development and sales plans for water-based urethane products across India and international regions.
  • Identify new markets, emerging segments, and high-potential customers to accelerate growth.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline with clear conversion strategies.

2. Strategic Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with CXOs, Founders, Directors, and functional leaders across customer organizations.
  • Promote technology-driven solutions and communicate product value in alignment with customer objectives.
  • Position Srishti Resins as a trusted technical and commercial partner.

3. Segment Focus & Application Development

Drive business development across priority applications including:

  1. Architectural paints
  2. Wood coatings
  3. BOPP/PET film & paper coatings
  4. Leather coatings
  5. Industrial & specialty chemical applications

Collaborate with technical teams to deliver product trials, demonstrations, formulations, and application support.

4. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Prepare detailed market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and business forecasts.
  • Monitor regulatory and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Present periodic performance updates to management.

5. Customer Satisfaction & Retention

  • Ensure exceptional customer experience through proactive communication and service.
  • Resolve customer challenges with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Strengthen long-term partnerships enabling repeat and sustainable business.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymers, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • 7–10+ years of B2B sales/business development experience in polymers, coatings, adhesives, or water-based systems.
  • Strong knowledge of specialty chemical markets and application technologies.
  • Proven experience engaging with senior-level stakeholders and closing high-value B2B deals.
  • Exposure to both Indian and international markets is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
