Overview The Role: A Seasoned Packaging Sourcing Leader working in FMCG-Pharma Industry with Global Business/Market exposure. The person will lead a team of sourcing experts and will contribute through negotiations, category management, and balanced innovations. How You Would Contribute Manager, Packaging Sourcing will manage vendor partnerships and ensure the procurement of high-quality packaging materials. Key responsibilities include: Vendor Management: Select and evaluate vendors to meet business goals. Strategic Sourcing: Use data and strategic principles to assess cost, quality, risk, and compatibility. Quality Assurance: Lead all aspects of procurement and ensure compliance with industry standards. Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis for informed procurement decisions. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D, etc.) to support new product launches. Skills And Background Required To Be Successful In-depth knowledge of packaging materials and industry standards Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent grasp of packaging technical skill and business dynamics competence Education Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with equivalent experience Degree/Diploma from the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) is desired Packaging background in FMCG or Pharma Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in sourcing and new product launch, preferably in packaging materials Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills Proficiency in ERP Oracle systems and PLM Agile Terms of Use Privacy Policy Compliance Documents CSR Policy Show more Show less
