Manager, Packaging Sourcing - India

Role Overview: As a seasoned Packaging Sourcing Leader working in the FMCG-Pharma Industry with Global Business/Market exposure, you will lead a team of sourcing experts and contribute through negotiations, category management, and balanced innovations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage vendor partnerships and ensure the procurement of high-quality packaging materials - Select and evaluate vendors to meet business goals - Use data and strategic principles for strategic sourcing to assess cost, quality, risk, and compatibility - Lead all aspects of procurement and ensure compliance with industry standards for quality assurance - Conduct market analysis to make informed procurement decisions - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D, etc.) to support new product launches Qualifications Required: - In-depth knowledge of packaging materials and industry standards - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Strong project management and organizational skills - Excellent grasp of packaging technical skill and business dynamics competence - Bachelors or masters degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with equivalent experience - Degree/Diploma from the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) is desired - Packaging background in FMCG or Pharma - Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in sourcing and new product launch, preferably in packaging materials - Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills - Proficiency in ERP Oracle systems and PLM Agile,
