Medhavi Skills University (MSU) is a government-notified private skills university established under a State Act in Sikkim, dedicated to promoting quality skill education and entrepreneurship integrated with higher education. Role Overview:
The Manager - Outreach and Admissions will play a pivotal role in expanding Medhavi Skills University's reach and attracting a diverse pool of qualified students. This role involves proactive outreach activities, effective communication with prospective students and stakeholders, and meticulous management of the admissions process to ensure enrollment targets are met. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, results-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and a passion for education and skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

Outreach & Lead Generation:
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with schools, colleges, coaching centers, vocational training institutes, and other relevant educational institutions to promote MSU's programs.
  • Organize and conduct workshops, seminars, career counseling sessions, and admission camps at various locations to generate leads and create awareness about MSU.
  • Represent MSU at educational fairs, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase programs and attract prospective students.
  • Develop and implement innovative outreach strategies to reach target demographics, including rural and semi-urban areas.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling promotional materials and campaigns.

Admissions Management:
  • Counsel prospective students and their parents/guardians on program details, admissioncriteria, fee structures, and career opportunities.
  • Guide applicants through the entire admission process, including application submission,document verification, and entrance examinations (if applicable).
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and maintenance of prospective student databases (CRM).
  • Follow up with leads diligently to maximize conversion rates.
  • Assist in the preparation of admission reports and analysis.

Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including school principals, career counselors, and industry partners.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Medhavi Skills University, upholding its values and vision.
  • Address inquiries and resolve concerns of prospective students and their families effectively and professionally.

Target Achievement:
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve individual and team enrollment targets.
  • Regularly monitor progress against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.

Market Research & Analysis:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the education landscape.
  • Provide feedback to the management on market demands and program suitability.

Qualifications & Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline. A Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in outreach, admissions, business development, or sales,preferably within the education sector (skills education/vocational training experience is highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English and Hindi is essential. Knowledge of other regional languages is an advantage.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
