Organization Objective/Purpose:

• This position is in the Engineering team under the Digital Experience organization. We drive the first mile of customer experience through personalization of offers and content. We are currently on the lookout for a smart, highly driven individual.

• The incumbent is also expected to partner with various collaborators, bring scientific rigor to design and develop high quality software.
• She / He also must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment within a larger company.

Role Summary:

The Senior Manager – ML Engineering will lead the design, development, and deployment of Generative AI solutions for clients across industries. This individual will serve as both a hands-on technical expert and a strategic consultant, bridging the gap between advanced AI capabilities and business value realization.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data science, machine learning, and deep learning, coupled with strong knowledge of LLMs (online/offline), prompt engineering, and reinforcement learning. They will be responsible for finding opportunities, architecting solutions, managing technical delivery, and guiding multi-functional teams to operationalize GenAI at scale.This role will require the candidate to be hands-on while guiding the team on GenAi protocols.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Generative AI applications using modern frameworks and platforms.
• Evaluate and fine-tune online (API-based) and offline (open-source, self-hosted) LLMs such as GPT, Llama, Mistral, Claude, etc.
• Lead experimentation and optimization efforts including fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-agent systems.
• Oversee data pipeline design, model training, and deployment using MLOps protocols.
• Ensure model governance, performance monitoring, and compliance with ethical AI standards.

• Solution Architecture & Design

• Design and implement

  end-to-end Generative AI and LLM-based architectures

  , integrating with enterprise data and applications.
• Define

  reference architectures, frameworks, and protocols

  for scalable AI driven applications.
• Architect and operationalize

  RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)

  and LLM-based workflows using cloud-native components (e.g., AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Ensure

  scalability, reliability, and governance

  across AI, data, and ML pipelines.

• Strategic & Consulting Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to identify business problems that can be solved using Generative AI technologies.
• Define AI solution architectures and roadmaps aligned with client objectives.
• Evangelize GenAI capabilities within the organization and to external collaborators.
• Contribute to thought leadership, innovation initiatives, and IP creation in the AI/ML space.

• Innovation & Leadership

• Stay ahead of advancements in

  AI/ML frameworks, LLM technologies, and Gen AI ecosystems

• Evaluate emerging tools, open-source models, and platforms for enterprise AI applications.
• Mentor data scientists and engineers in building and scaling AI-powered systems.

Qualification

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
• 15 years of total experience with at least 3–4 years in

  AI/ML and Generative AI

  solution development.
• Experience working on AdTech or MarTech technologies is added advantage
• Strong analytic thought process and ability to interpret findings

Required Skills & Competencies

• Deep understanding of LLMs, Diffusion models, Reinforcement Learning (RL / RLHF), and Deep Learning frameworks
• Familiarity with

  MLOps practices

  — model lifecycle, CI/CD for ML, versioning, and monitoring.
• Experience with

  vector databases

  and

  embedding pipelines

  for contextual retrieval.
• Familiarity with RAG architectures, vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma), LangChain, LlamaIndex, and model fine-tuning pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-based AI platforms (AWS Sagemaker, Azure AI, GCP Vertex AI) and open-source model hosting.
• Strong hands-on experience in

• Solid understanding of
